Short version: when you contact us we collect your name and email so we can reply. When you buy a product, checkout happens on Gumroad. We never see or store your payment details. We never sell your data.
Who we are
TrainMe4Tech (Dare2CareComputers LLC, doing business as TrainMe4Tech) operates trainme4tech.com. We sell downloadable digital products and publish free training content. Data controller contact: support@trainme4tech.com. Business address available on request via that email.
What information we collect
When you contact us: the name, email address, and message you submit through our contact form, used only to respond to you.
When you purchase: checkout is handled entirely by Gumroad. Your payment details go directly to Gumroad and never touch our servers. Gumroad shares your name and email with us so we can provide support and process refunds. See the Gumroad privacy policy.
If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address, stored with Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider. Unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email.
Automatically: standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), used only to diagnose technical issues.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site stores a single preference in your browser to remember your light/dark theme choice. Where consent banners are shown, they are managed by our cookie-consent tool and you can change your choice at any time. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font requests are sent to Google when you browse this site. Some embedded product pages may load fonts from third-party servers, which transmits your IP address to those servers.
Third parties we share data with
Gumroad: payment processing and product delivery. Kit: email newsletter (name and email, only if you subscribe). Our hosting provider: stores server data. YouTube: videos we embed or link to are subject to Google’s privacy policy when you watch them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone for marketing purposes.
Data retention & your rights
We retain purchase records as long as legally required and support correspondence for up to two years. You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing support@trainme4tech.com. We reply within two business days, usually much sooner. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
